Top Gear Festival
Top Gear Festivals are unique events created for those with a passion for Top Gear and motoring in general. Hosted by Clarkson, Hammond and May the festival format enables visitors to enjoy a full day of motoring entertainment including absurd stunts and presenter challenges synonymous with the Top Gear TV program.
The first ever Top Gear Festival took place in March, 2011 in Johannesburg, South Africa at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit and this year the Festival started its three year residency back in South Africa, but in the new home of Durban. As well as a stadium show in the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium Top Gear staged its first ever street circuit stretching over 2km around the streets of Durban. The MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One team with their test driver Sam Bird took to the grid along with a whole host of other guest drivers, presenters and celebrities.
